Terms and Conditions – Test Days

Participants attend Rockingham Test Days at their own risk and any liability for individuals and/or their cars rests solely with them

Booking and Payment
1. Places are sold on a first come first served basis and will only be confirmed once payment in full has been received
2. Bookings will be confirmed by email
3. We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any bookings without giving a reason
4. Garages may be pre booked

Cancellations and Refunds
5. Bookings may be cancelled up to 7 days prior to the event. Any such cancellations will be refunded in full. Alternatively a credit note for the full value of the event will offered to be used at a future event
6. Bookings cancelled less than 7 days prior to an event may be given a credit for a future event at Rockingham’s discretion
7. Under exceptional circumstances beyond Rockingham’s control (for example adverse weather conditions), Rockingham reserve the right to either cancel the day or change the circuit configuration. Where an event is cancelled in its entirety for such reasons Rockingham will endeavour to notify participants of cancellation prior to the date of the event. Rockingham will give participants a credit note to be used against a future test day
8. If Rockingham cancel an event for reasons other than events beyond its control, a full refund will be offered

Test Day Car:
9. It is the participant’s responsibility to ensure that their vehicle is in good condition both bodily and mechanically and be safe for use on the track at all times. Race vehicles should be capable of passing MSA scrutineering
10. With the exception of single seaters a towing eye must be fitted to the vehicle (single seaters will be towed using the roll hoop). Failure to do so will cause delays or even damage to your vehicle in the recovery process. Rockingham cannot be held responsible for such damage
11. Rockingham will NOT be scrutineering all vehicles and cannot therefore guarantee the safety of all vehicles on track
12. Rockingham reserve the right to inspect any vehicle and to refuse access to the track for any vehicle deemed as being unfit. No refund or credit will be given in such circumstances
13. All vehicles must comply with the venue noise limit of 105Dba static unless otherwise advised by the venue. ALL vehicles will be noise tested prior to being allowed on track. The venue operates a drive by noise monitoring system and reserves the right to retest vehicles where this system indicates that the vehicle may exceed the static limit

14. All drivers must possess an MSA National B (or higher) race or FIA approved licence which must be shown at signing on. Photocopies will not be accepted
15. All drivers must wear a full race suit and a helmet both of which should comply with current MSA/FIA standards
16. No passengers are allowed.
17. Safety devices (eg seat belts/harnesses) must be used where fitted
18. No driver shall consume or be under the influence of alcohol or drugs at any time during the event

19. On arrival all drivers must report to signing on where they will be required to sign a registration and indemnity form. Drivers under the age of 18 must have the appropriate part of the Registration Form signed by their parent or guardian
20. Drivers will be issued with the appropriately coloured wristband No driver will be permitted on track unless they have signed on and are wearing the appropriate wristband. On Site Safety Venue
21. Venue speed limit is 20 mph
22. Anyone reported driving recklessly or dangerously will be escorted from the venue
23. No paddock bikes or other forms of unlicensed motorised transport are to be used on the venue at any time

Pit Lane/Garages
24. Pit lane speed limit is 30mph
25. It is forbidden to store fuel or refuel in the garages 26. It is forbidden to sit on the pit wall
27. No smoking is permitted in the Garage, Pit Lane or Garage roof
28. Children under 16 are not allowed in the garages or pit lane
29. Tyres and oil drums are not permitted to be disposed off in bins or garages. Please ensure these are taken away with you at the end of the day to be disposed of. Any person found to be in contravention will be charged a minimum of £25 + VAT per item

30. We strongly recommend that any drivers new to the track take part in the sighting laps (where available) prior to the start of the event
31. In case of an incident leave your vehicle and move to a safe position behind the barriers and await recovery
32. Any driver deemed to be driving in an inappropriate way will be shown the black flag and must report to Rockingham staff before re-entering the circuit. Repeated instances of poor driving standards will result in the participant being denied access to the track for the remainder of the day
33. Racing against other participants is strictly prohibited. Any participant found to be in violation will be denied access to the track for the remainder of the day
34. The participant is at all times liable for damage to circuit property
35. Novice drivers must display the novice badge (black cross on yellow background)

In Car Filming
36. Permission for the use of an in car camera must be received from Rockingham. Forms are available on request.
37. Hand held cameras are not permitted. Fixed cameras must be securely mounted (these will be checked by the pit lane marshal)

38. Spectators are welcome on site, however those under 16 years of age are not permitted access to the pit lane or pit garages. Children must be supervised al all times
39. No animals may be brought on site
